Location: Clitheroe, Lancashire, UK
Nestled in the heart of Lancashires Ribble Valley, set amongst some of Britain’s most stunning natural scenery is the small historical town of Clitheroe. Dominating this peaceful Pennine skyline for over 800 years is the motte and bailey Castle keep of Clitheroe, which received a dramatic facelift for one night only thanks to our Fusion flood light range.
The transformations were achieved using a blend of acdc products to create a series of intense colour wash effects upon the castle facades. A mixture of deep blues, intense greens and burnt oranges perfectly grazed the castle’s exterior stone walls with ease with contrasting reds positioned inside to illuminate the circular opening on the front castle
wall to add a level of contrast and depth.
To complete the project, Plaza 20’s illuminated the sombre cenotaph statue which sits just below the keep in the castle’s beautiful gardens. A big thank you to Ribble Valley Borough Council for their generosity and for granting us permission to use this prestigious location for our photo shoots
